Order Processing and Fulfillment

  • All our products are handmade with love and care, often crafted to order. This ensures that each piece is unique and special, just for you.
  • The Afropolitan Shop is a US based company and so we do keep stock of on hand for several bestselling items, however, or artisans often begin crafting your items once your order is received. This process typically takes between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on the complexity and intricacy of the designs and international shipping delays.

Shipping Times

  • Once all items in your order are ready, we strive to ship them out promptly.
  • Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Please refer to our shipping options for more details.
  • For international orders, please be aware that customs clearance may impact delivery times. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information including a link to check the order status.
  • This will allow you to monitor the progress of your package as it makes its way to you.

Made-to-Order Variations

  • Due to the handmade nature of our products, each item may vary slightly in appearance. These variations contribute to the uniqueness and charm of each piece.
  • Colors, textures, and sizes may appear slightly different in person than they do on your screen.
  • We strive to provide accurate product images, but please keep in mind the inherent differences in handmade items.

Multiple Shipments

  • If your order includes multiple items, they may be shipped separately to ensure the fastest delivery possible. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment.

Shipping Rates

  • US Shipping rates are now calculated based on the weight of your order and the destination. Please review our shipping rates at checkout for accurate pricing.
  • 2024 UPDATE: due to the rising cost of goods and international shipping rates, we do now require a $35 purchase minium to qualify for free shipping in the US.
  • Free Shipping is not available for international orders.
  • This will help cover our costs and insure you get your order the quickest way possible.
