This image via White African. Check out the google earth photo of Kibera Slum in Nairobi, Kenya which is the second largest slum in Africa (the largest being Soweto in South Africa). The area can be seen at the top part of the image. Its home to over a million people.
I just read the article about this ‘slum’ on the other blog and it was amazing!!! Did you peep game!!! Check out the dates…. in less than three months they transformed a local trash site into a wonderful community garden!!! All it takes is a little funding and organization and you can change the world, really!!!! WOW
